Galeri Soyut / Çankaya is on view with the “Figür-yorum/11” project exhibition featuring 21 artists between May 16 – June 10, 2025.

At the center of art is always the human being. From thousands of years ago to today, artists have conveyed their emotions, thoughts, and perspectives on the world through the figure. Figurative expression has held an important place in art history not only as a form, but as a visual interpretation of human individual and social experiences.

The “Figür-Yorum” exhibition brings together under one roof young artists interpreting the figure with a contemporary language and masters with deep expertise in this field. The exhibition, which is on view at Galeri Soyut / Çankaya between May 16 – June 11, 2025, presents the works of artists who move away from classical narratives and rehandle the figure as a medium of expression.

Each of them invites the viewer to discover different interpretations of the figure with their works centered on the human.
