MUSA GÜNEY

MUSA GÜNEY (1975), eserleri Galeri Soyut arşivinde yer alan sanatçılardandır. Galeri Soyut sitesinde sanatçının 105 eseri ve 13 sergisi kayıtlı (eserlerin tarih aralığı 2012–2025). Musa Güney was born in the Yusufeli district of Artvin in 1974. After graduating from the Department of Graphic Design at Atatürk University Faculty of Fine Arts in 1999, he settled in Istanbul. He worked as an art director in various companies in the field of graphic design while simultaneously continuing his professional painting career, which began during his university years, in Istanbul.

Throughout his art life, Güney has opened 21 solo exhibitions in the fields of graphics and painting, taken part in numerous group exhibitions at home and abroad, and been deemed worthy of numerous awards. He has served as a jury member and consultant in international painting workshops, art fairs, and biennals.

The artist's works are included in public and private collections in Turkey as well as in collections in many countries, notably Italy, Germany, the United States, the United Kingdom, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, North Korea, and Peru.

The fundamental imagery that comes to the fore in Musa Güney's paintings is nature. In the artist's works, nature takes place not as an objective reality, but as an expression of his inner reflections. Furthermore, the artist produces original and abstract works in the field of photography and continues his work in his studio in Istanbul.
