TAHA BAYDAR (1987), eserleri Galeri Soyut arşivinde yer alan sanatçılardandır. Galeri Soyut sitesinde sanatçının 142 eseri ve 11 sergisi kayıtlı (eserlerin tarih aralığı 2015–2025). Born in Eskişehir in 1987. Graduated from Yunus Emre Anatolian Vocational High School, Department of Automation in 2005. Graduated from Anadolu University Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Glass in 2005-2009. Completed his internships at Paşabahçe Denizli Glass Factory and Yakamoz Cam. 2009-2011 Following his graduation, he worked as a Designer at Yakamoz Cam until 2011, building on his successful internship period. He created numerous designs for glass objects, utilitarian items, and in the decorative and architectural fields. 2009 At the same time, he began his master's degree at Mimar Sinan University Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Ceramics and Glass. 2011 Won a scholarship for the Rob Stern Hot Glass Workshop held at the Glass Furnace Foundation. 2011-2015 Continued his work in many areas such as Design, Application, Education, Organization, and Production for approximately 5 years, starting from its establishment, at the Eskişehir Odunpazarı Municipality Hot Glass Workshop. During this period, he played an active role in organizing the International Festival 4 times and had the opportunity to work alongside the world's best glass artists such as Martin Janecky, Jiri Suhajek, Daniel White, Paul de Somma, Pino Cherchi, Jason Christian, Rob Stern, Ed Van Dijk, and Jeff Ballard. 2012 Received short-term training at the Abate Zanetti glass school in Italy. During this time, he had the opportunity to observe the island of Murano glass. 2015 Held his first solo exhibition titled "Gibi" in January 2015 at Galeri Soyut Ankara. He has taken part in numerous national and international group exhibitions in his field. 2015 Participated in the Glass Furnace Artist in Residence program alongside Turkish glass artist Gülin Algül. 2018 Continues his work as a Lecturer at Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Ceramics and Glass. 2018 Held his second solo exhibition titled "Benzer" in September 2018 at Galeri Soyut Ankara. 2019 Received his master's degree from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts Institute Ceramic Design program with his thesis titled "Sanatsal Cam Formlarda Doku Etkileri". 2020-2022 Served as a Consultant in the establishment of the Ordu Metropolitan Municipality Hot Glass Workshop. 2020 Took part as an Artist in the Transparence – The Glass short film project. 2022 Participated as an Invited Artist in the project titled New Techniques in Turkish Glass Art carried out by the Glass Furnace Foundation. He received technical training and produced works in the Reticello workshop led by Janusz Pozniak. 2022 Participated as an Invited Artist and Speaker in the Camgeran International Glass Symposium held by Anadolu University Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Glass. 2022 His illustrated children's book titled Elma Ağacının Hikayesi, which he authored, was released by Fibula Yayıncılık. 2022 Began his professional music career as a vocalist and lyricist in the music band named Üstü Kapalı. In the same year, 3 compositions and 1 music video were released to audiences. 2023 Accepted into the International Biennale of Glass Bulgaria with his permanent work in the museum. 2023 Held his third solo exhibition titled "An" in October at Galeri Soyut Ankara.
