Biography
ÖZLEM ÇAKMAK (1975), eserleri Galeri Soyut arşivinde yer alan sanatçılardandır. Galeri Soyut sitesinde sanatçının 21 eseri ve 6 sergisi kayıtlı (eserlerin tarih aralığı 2024–2026). Sitedeki eserlerinde en çok görülen teknikler: Tuval üzeri yağlı boya, Keten tuval üzeri yağlı boya. Eserleri hakkında bilgi ve fiyat için galeriye danışabilirsiniz.
She was born in Uşak in 1975. In 1996, she graduated from Gazi University, Faculty of Education, Department of Chemistry Education.
In 2016, she completed the Department of Philosophy at Istanbul University. The artist is currently pursuing her Master's degree with a thesis in the Department of Painting at Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University, Institute of Fine Arts.
In her figurative paintings, she predominantly places the female figure at the center while reconstructing the boundaries between reality and dreams in ambiguous spaces. She works on themes such as memory, transformation, mental awareness, and existential questioning. By blending neoclassical style and Renaissance techniques with a contemporary narrative, she offers the viewer both a visual and intellectual space. She continues her work in her studio in Çankaya, Ankara.
