CEM GÜNEY ÇEVİKBAŞ (1976), eserleri Galeri Soyut arşivinde yer alan sanatçılardandır. Galeri Soyut sitesinde sanatçının 21 eseri ve 6 sergisi kayıtlı (eserlerin tarih aralığı 2025–2026). Cem Güney Çevikbaş (1976, Isparta) is one of the notable names in contemporary Turkish sculpture. Starting his artistic career in the early 2000s, Çevikbaş has held twelve solo exhibitions in various provinces of Turkey to date, and has produced monumental sculptures and stage designs featured in numerous public spaces.

The artist is also proficient in space and set designs, woodworking, and painting, and has developed a unique language that brings together form, material, and meaning in his productions.

Between 2002 and 2005, he worked in the Akdeniz University Stage and Set Design Department, teaching classes in modeling, technical drawing, and stage-set design. In addition, he took part in the realization of stage sets for major productions such as The Nutcracker, La Fille mal gardée, and La Traviata for the Antalya State Opera and Ballet.

In his recent work, he has taken part in projects such as film set designs for the Konya Selçuklu Municipality's 100th Anniversary of the Republic celebrations (2023) and Kuyu Filmi set designs.

Completing his education at Süleyman Demirel University Fine Arts Education Department (1998), Çevikbaş is currently pursuing his master's degree at Anadolu University Faculty of Education Fine Arts Education Department. He completed his high school education at Aksu Teacher High School.

Alongside his artistic productions, he carries out sculpture projects for various municipalities and public institutions, and actively participates in competitions and exhibitions.

Among the events he has attended are important organizations such as the Antalya Contemporary Arts Fair (2024) and the Muratpaşa Municipality Old Town Art Festival (2023). He has received numerous awards and certificates for his successful work. Among these, the Muratpaşa Municipality Mevlana Statue Monumental Achievement Certificate (2022), the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Atatürk Monument Statue Achievement Certificate (2020), and the Embassy of Kazakhstan Colonel Kunanbay Monumental Sculpture Achievement Certificate (2020) stand out.

Cem Güney Çevikbaş continues his productions in his studio located in Antalya, and carries out collaborations with local governments, cultural institutions, and art organizations.
