“ŞÜKRÜ KARAKUŞ”, Galeri Soyut’un A SALONU mekânında 14 Mart – 2 Nisan 2025 tarihleri arasında düzenlenmiş bir kişisel sergidir. Sergide 25 eseri yer aldı. Sergiyi gezmek ücretsizdir.
Galeri Soyut is on view with the painting exhibition titled "Seyr-i Alem" by Şükrü Karakuş. Taking place in Hall B between 14 March - 2 April 2025, the exhibition will feature the artist's imaginative design conception and artistic approach based on contrasts.
SEYR-İ ALEM
The basis of the plastic arts relies on seeing. The artist looks at the outside world, sees it, and records what they see in their memory. This record turns into perception in the artist's inner world. Perception is transferred outward as an image through tools and equipment.
Birds, plants, insects, objects, machines, toys, celestial bodies have now transformed and become original; they have turned into works of art as color, form, or thought. The seeing subject at the beginning; that is, the artist, is now in the position of the one who shows. This cycle always goes on...

Şükrü Karakuş, a master of imaginative design who bases his works on contrasts, harmonizes east-west, geometric-organic, cosmetic-cosmic, technological-mystical, traditional and contemporary with each other. At the same time, he seeks a complete harmony between his lifestyle and his art. His effort is to present the complexity of life within a sensoral order.
