ÜMİT TÜRK (1989), eserleri Galeri Soyut arşivinde yer alan sanatçılardandır. Galeri Soyut sitesinde sanatçının 169 eseri ve 26 sergisi kayıtlı (eserlerin tarih aralığı 2012–2020). Ümit Türk was born in Trabzon in 1989. Having completed his primary and high school education there, he entered Anadolu University Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Painting in 2007. After graduating in 2012, Türk took part in numerous exhibitions and artistic organizations. He continues his graduate education at Giresun University Institute of Social Sciences, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Art and Design, and pursues his thesis studies.

Art has appeared before us in many senses and with different qualities within the timeframe extending to the present day. These qualities are shaped and changed from generation to generation according to state forms, religion, politics, and anxieties; it always maintains its existence by finding different paths for itself. When we consider the art of painting, if the words about the art of painting had remained in the past and the act of painting had stopped in the period we are in, the answer to the question of how much society would feel the absence of the art of painting and what changes would occur in human life actually tells us the reason for the existence of contemporary painting. The act of art is an endeavor, and this endeavor is actually the abstract energy of the mind. The individual who embodies this energy and builds a bridge with the viewer is the artist. In this context, taking landscape and human as objects in his works, Türk examines the process of ''time and change'' and abstracts the powerful effect created by movement. By subjecting objects to a process with his subjective world, he creates his works of creation and transfers them to his paintings. Dealing with changing forms and time, the artist aims to trigger the ideological divergence and future predictions on the viewer regarding the varieties of change that have occurred since existence.
